1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CogitaVerse (cogitaverse.com), including our study notes, MCQ banks, blog articles, and the courses, quizzes, badges, and certificates offered through CogitaVerse Academy (together, the "Services").

By visiting the website, creating an account, or using any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2 Our Services

CogitaVerse is an e-learning platform based in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, providing preparation resources for competitive examinations including CSS, PMS, PPSC, FPSC, NTS, and SPSC, as well as academic content for college students. Services include:

• Free study articles, notes, and guides published on our blog;
• Structured courses with student notes, solved questions, and worksheets;
• Interactive quizzes, MCQ banks, and mock tests with instant results;
• Progress tracking, badges, leaderboards, and completion certificates;
• Free and paid subscription plans with different levels of access.

We may add, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time as the platform evolves.

3 Accounts & Eligibility

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal. Sharing a paid account with others, or using another person's account, is prohibited and may result in suspension without refund.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should use the Services with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Notify us immediately at contact@cogitaverse.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4 Intellectual Property

All content on CogitaVerse — including study notes, solved short questions, MCQ banks, quizzes, worksheets, blog posts, graphics, logos, page designs, and software — is the property of CogitaVerse or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Ordinance, 1962 of Pakistan and applicable international copyright laws.

What you may do

• Read, study, and take notes from our content for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation;
• Share links to our pages on social media or with fellow aspirants;
• Print or download materials where a download option is explicitly provided, for personal use only.

What you may not do

• Copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute our notes, MCQs, or quizzes on other websites, apps, YouTube channels, WhatsApp groups, or in printed form;
• Sell, rent, or commercially exploit any CogitaVerse material;
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content by automated means;
• Remove or alter copyright notices or CogitaVerse branding from any material.

5 Acceptable Use

When using the Services you agree not to:

• Attempt to cheat, manipulate scores, or interfere with the quiz engine, leaderboards, or certificate system;
• Upload or post unlawful, abusive, hateful, or misleading content in comments or submissions;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to admin areas, other users' accounts, or our databases;
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the website;
• Impersonate CogitaVerse staff, teachers, or any other person;
• Use the Services in any way that violates the laws of Pakistan.

6 Subscriptions & Payments

• Some courses and features require a paid subscription. Prices and plan details are shown at the point of purchase and may change for future billing periods with prior notice.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; CogitaVerse does not store your full card or bank details.
• Access to paid content begins once payment is confirmed and lasts for the subscribed period.
• Refunds: Because our products are digital and instantly accessible, payments are generally non-refundable once course content or quizzes have been accessed. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not access purchased content due to a fault on our side, contact us within 7 days at contact@cogitaverse.com and we will review your case fairly.
• We may withdraw promotional pricing or free-access offers at any time; content already unlocked in your account remains available for your subscription period.

7 Quizzes, Badges & Certificates

• Quiz scores, badges, and certificates reflect your performance on CogitaVerse materials only. They are not official qualifications and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or recognised by FPSC, PPSC, SPSC, NTS, or any government examining body.
• Certificates are issued to the registered account holder's name upon meeting the stated completion criteria.
• Leaderboards may display your chosen display name and score. Contact us if you prefer not to appear on public leaderboards.
• We reserve the right to void scores or certificates obtained through cheating or technical manipulation.

8 Content Accuracy Disclaimer

We work hard to keep our notes, solved questions, and MCQ banks accurate and aligned with the latest syllabi and textbook editions (including Punjab PECTAA standards). However:

• Exam syllabi, patterns, and official policies change; always verify critical details with the official examining body's announcements;
• Content is provided "as is" for educational support and may occasionally contain errors or outdated details despite our best efforts;
• CogitaVerse does not guarantee success in any examination. Results depend on many factors beyond our materials, including your own effort and the examining body's decisions.

9 Advertising & Third-Party Services

CogitaVerse displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may include links or embedded content from third-party websites. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party products, services, or websites. Your dealings with any advertiser or external site are solely between you and that party. Cookie and data practices related to advertising are explained in our Privacy Policy.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted availability or error-free operation;
• CogitaVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including exam outcomes, lost opportunities, or data loss — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services;
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to CogitaVerse in the 3 months preceding the claim (or PKR 1,000 if you used only free services).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11 Suspension & Termination

• You may stop using the Services or request account deletion at any time via our contact page.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — including account sharing, cheating, content theft, or abusive conduct — with or without prior notice, and without refund for the unused subscription period where the violation is serious.
• Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. We encourage you to contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly and amicably.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time as the platform grows or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced on the website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
